Exploring the world from a female perspective

(Sung to the tune of…well, duh…)

Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree,

How will I take you home with me?

Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree,

I haven’t got a car you see.

With boughs wrapped up in plastic net

I’ll get you home in one piece yet

Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree,

How will I take you home with me?

If you’re not big, I’ll carry you

It really won’t be hard to do.

Or on my bike’s another way

That I can get you home today.

If on a bus, my fare is paid*

By wooden cart that I hand made

I’ve got the will, I’ve got the way

Oh, Christmas tree you’re mine today.

*Yes, you read that right. Anyone transporting a Christmas tree on a Salzburg bus rides for free.

I just watched a Rick Steeves European Christmas episode which included Salzburg. Unfortunately, an armchair travel experience for me. It seems like you are having an incredible trip. I look forward to hearing all about it. Merry Christmas to you and Lorne.

Thanks, Judy. The trip has been like being in a gigantic Christmas card, quite literally with all of my favorite things! Merry Christmas to you, Fred Kalsey and Kale.
